Allan Toniks, a well-known recording and performing artist, has opened up about his decision to dissolve a record label he had established to support and nurture upcoming talent.
The “Beera Nange” singer initially created the label with the vision of helping aspiring artists become the stars of tomorrow. However, his dream was cut short due to challenges he faced with some of his partners, leading to the dissolution of the label.
“We had to dissolve the label because of misunderstandings with the people I was partnering with,” Toniks explained. Despite this setback, he shared that he is now focusing on a new venture called Shutter Media.
Toniks made these revelations while responding to a question about the status of his record label and whether he had signed any new artists. He also discussed the current challenges of breaking into the music industry, noting how difficult it has become for artists who are not financially well-off.
“In the early 2000s, it was easier to join the industry because it wasn’t as commercialized. Now, without money, it’s much harder,” he said. Toniks emphasized that while passion is essential, natural talent plays a crucial role in achieving success in the industry.
