Singer Mikie Wine, born Michael Mukwaya, has once again assured fans and critics that his relationship with fellow musician Eddy Kenzo remains strong and amicable. As he prepares for his debut concert this coming weekend, Mikie Wine addressed recent speculation about any potential rift between the two artists.
In a recent interview on Sanyuka TV, Mikie Wine clarified that while he and Eddy Kenzo have differing opinions on certain issues, it does not affect their overall relationship. He emphasized that their bond is intact, despite occasional disagreements.
“My relationship with Eddy Kenzo is so good. However, sometimes I get perturbed by his views and points he makes on certain issues that don’t match with my thinking,” Mikie Wine stated.
The two artists gained prominence with their hit song “Yanimba,” released around 2008, which significantly boosted their careers and lives.
Additionally, Mikie Wine highlighted his ongoing commitment to nurturing new talent through his Sulubada High School music camp. “I’m the CEO of Sulubada High School, where we train and share knowledge to empower the next generation,” he said.
With his debut concert on the horizon, Mikie Wine continues to focus on his music career while maintaining a positive relationship with his fellow artists.
