Levixone Reveals Massive 180-Song Process Behind Upcoming Album P2:11
Gospel artist Levixone has pulled back the curtain on the making of his highly anticipated upcoming album P2:11, revealing a staggering creative process that saw him record more than 180 songs before finalizing the project.
Speaking in an interview with Mbu, the singer described the album as one of the most ambitious undertakings of his career, both spiritually and musically.
The project, which is deeply rooted in faith and global collaboration, marks a major shift in how Levixone approaches music releases and long-term artistic planning.
The Meaning Behind P2:11
Levixone explained that the album title P2:11 is inspired by the Bible verse Philippians 2:11.
For him, the project is not just a collection of songs — it is a message-driven body of work centered on faith, identity, and purpose.
But the scale of its creation is what truly sets it apart…
According to the artist, the final tracklist represents only a small fraction of what was recorded during the album’s development.
180 Songs Recorded, Only 11 Made the Cut
Levixone revealed that over the course of the project, he recorded more than 180 songs.
However, only 11 tracks were selected for the final album.
He noted that the process involved intense creative filtering, experimentation, and global collaboration to ensure the final product matched his vision.
The singer also disclosed that several music videos have already been completed and are awaiting release, signaling a highly coordinated rollout strategy.
This level of production marks a significant evolution from his earlier approach of releasing limited singles.

From One Song a Year to a Global Studio Journey
Levixone reflected on his early career, noting that his breakthrough came in 2009 with Nonya Omu, which introduced him to a wider audience.
For years, he maintained a deliberate release pattern — sometimes putting out only one song annually.
That strategy, he said, worked well especially after he began staging concerts in 2012, using live performances to build momentum around each release.
However, everything changed when a new management team came on board about five years ago.
A New Creative Era
Levixone explained that his team encouraged him to think beyond singles and embrace a full album concept.
This shift led him to travel extensively across multiple countries in search of diverse sounds and production styles.
He worked with producers from different parts of the world, including Northern Ireland, blending international influences into his gospel sound.
The result is an album that reflects both spiritual grounding and global musical identity.
But there’s more on the horizon…

Levixone and Desire Luzinda Tease Joint Music
The gospel star also revealed that he and his wife, singer Desire Luzinda, already have several songs recorded together.
According to Levixone, music plays a central role in their relationship, making a collaboration almost inevitable.
He hinted that fans will be surprised when they finally release their joint project.
“We sing all the time… so there’s no way we can’t do a song together,” he said.
The couple reportedly already has multiple tracks in the pipeline.

Upcoming Concert and Big Stage Ambitions
Levixone also spoke about his upcoming December concert, A One Tym Experience, promising a unique production unlike anything he has done before.
He said the event is being carefully designed to deliver a memorable experience for fans and elevate his live performance standards.
The singer also revisited his earlier ambition of performing at Uganda’s biggest venues.
Before his successful 2023 Kololo Airstrip concert, he had planned to stage the Chikibombe Concert at Mandela National Stadium.
Although that plan was disrupted due to stadium renovations, Levixone says his dream of filling Namboole is still very much alive.
From 180 songs down to 11, Levixone’s upcoming album is not just a release — it’s a curated testimony of years of discipline, faith, and global exploration.
With P2:11, Levixone is positioning himself for one of the most ambitious gospel releases in Ugandan music history.
And if his plans are anything to go by, this is on
