Cindy Sanyu Remains Hopeful for Long-Awaited Collaboration With Bebe Cool
Ugandan singer Cindy Sanyu has revealed that she is still open to working with Bebe Cool on a joint music project, despite multiple studio attempts that have not yet produced a released song.
The artist says the two have met several times in the studio but have repeatedly failed to agree on a final version of their work.
Still, Cindy insists the collaboration is not off the table.
Cindy Sanyu has opened up about her ongoing efforts to collaborate with fellow Ugandan artist Bebe Cool, revealing that the pair have attempted to create music together on several occasions.
Speaking recently, Cindy said she remains open to a collaboration but ruled out participating in another music battle, referencing her past showdown with Sheebah Karungi.
While she noted that a hypothetical battle with Bebe Cool would be more likely than with other artists, she emphasized that her preference is to release music together rather than engage in competition.
According to Cindy, she and Bebe Cool have already met in the studio approximately four times in an attempt to complete a joint project.

She explained that one of their earliest collaboration efforts involved her hit song “Ndi Mukodo,” which she originally envisioned as a track featuring both Bebe Cool and rapper Navio.
However, she said that after listening to the song, Bebe Cool felt it was not the right fit for him and ultimately opted out of the project.
Cindy added that subsequent studio sessions have also failed to yield a final release, despite multiple recording attempts and involvement from additional songwriters.
She noted that even after completing songs, the pair often end up dissatisfied with the final outcome, leading them to shelve the material and revisit the idea later.
Despite these setbacks, Cindy remains optimistic about future collaboration, stressing mutual respect between the two artists.

She expressed confidence that they will eventually agree on a track that meets both of their expectations and make it official with a release.
Cindy Sanyu is one of Uganda’s leading female artists, known for her work in dancehall, pop, and live performance.
Bebe Cool is a veteran Ugandan musician and one of the country’s most influential contemporary artists.
Both have long-standing careers in Uganda’s music industry and have occasionally been associated with rivalry narratives, though both have also collaborated widely with other artists.
Studio collaborations often involve multiple creative adjustments, especially when artists have distinct musical styles and production preferences.
A potential collaboration between Cindy Sanyu and Bebe Cool would represent a major moment in Uganda’s contemporary music scene.

Both artists carry significant influence, and a joint project would likely attract widespread attention across East Africa.
Their ongoing attempts also highlight how creative differences can delay even highly anticipated collaborations.
Behind the repeated studio attempts is a shared creative process shaped by patience, compromise, and artistic standards.
Cindy’s comments reflect persistence rather than conflict, with both artists continuing to search for the right musical fit.
The dynamic highlights how even established stars face challenges in aligning vision and execution.
For now, the collaboration remains unfinished—but Cindy Sanyu’s optimism suggests the door is still wide open for a future release.
