Talent Africa Announces Legends of Sound 2026 Concert With New “Group Therapy” Theme
Uganda’s nostalgia concert scene is set for another major moment as Talent Africa Group officially announces the return of its flagship event, Legends of Sound 2026.
The fourth edition of the celebrated concert series will take place on Friday, November 7, 2026, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel under a new theme titled “Group Therapy.”
After three successful editions celebrating some of Africa’s most influential music acts, Talent Africa is positioning this year’s event as more than a concert — a live experience built around memories, connection, and the timeless power of music.
The organisers have not yet revealed the full lineup, but they have promised a night featuring legendary performances, surprise collaborations, and moments designed to bring fans closer to the artists behind some of the region’s most memorable songs.
Legends of Sound Becomes a Celebration of African Music Heritage
Since launching, Legends of Sound has grown into one of Uganda’s notable live music experiences, focusing on artists whose work has influenced generations.
Rather than simply bringing back old hits, the concert series celebrates the stories, emotions, and cultural moments attached to classic songs.
Each edition has highlighted different chapters of East African music history.
Last year, audiences witnessed the Afrigo @ 50 celebration, honoring Uganda’s longest-serving band, Afrigo Band, with a special performance that also featured Congolese music icon Koffi Olomidé.
The previous year delivered another major entertainment moment when Uganda’s popular girl group BLU*3 reunited on stage, bringing together Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru, and Lillian Mbabazi.
That reunion became one of the standout moments in Uganda’s recent entertainment calendar.
“Group Therapy” Introduces a New Concert Experience
For 2026, Talent Africa Group says the event will take a different approach with the theme “Group Therapy.”
The concept focuses on music’s ability to reconnect people through shared memories and experiences.
According to the organisers, the concert will explore how certain songs become tied to important moments in people’s lives — from celebrations and relationships to personal milestones.
Instead of only looking back, Legends of Sound: Group Therapy aims to create a full live experience where audiences can celebrate the emotions behind the music.
The organisers describe the event as a gathering where fans can relive the soundtrack of their lives alongside the voices that created those memories.
Talent Africa Keeps Lineup Details Under Wraps
While excitement is already building, Talent Africa Group has chosen not to reveal the 2026 artist lineup yet.
The company has teased an event featuring iconic performances, possible collaborations, and appearances from artists who have shaped African music over the years.
A spokesperson for Talent Africa Group said the concert has evolved beyond a yearly show.
“Legends of Sound has become more than an annual concert; it has grown into a cultural experience that celebrates the music, memories, and artists who continue to shape our lives,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that this year’s theme was created around reconnecting audiences with songs and voices that have remained meaningful across generations.

Fans Wait for the Big Reveal
The announcement has already created anticipation among music lovers, with many wondering which legendary performers will appear on the 2026 stage.
Questions around possible reunions, regional collaborations, and surprise appearances are expected to dominate conversations leading up to the event.
However, Talent Africa has not confirmed any specific artists for the concert at this stage.
For now, the focus remains on the promise of another major celebration of African music history.
Why Legends of Sound Continues to Matter
As streaming and digital platforms change how audiences discover music, live nostalgia concerts have created a different kind of connection between artists and fans.
Events like Legends of Sound allow audiences to experience songs beyond recordings — through live performances, shared memories, and cultural celebrations.
The 2026 edition arrives with the goal of reminding fans why certain songs remain powerful years after their release.
On November 7, the legends return — and the biggest question remains: which voices will take the stage?
