Chosen Becky is pushing back on the idea that marriage is automatically difficult, saying her experience with husband Abdul Ssekajja has been anything but stressful.
The Ugandan singer said she believes marriage can be enjoyable when two people are right for each other, with prayer also playing an important role in finding a suitable partner.
“It is really fun. They lied to us that marriage is hard,” Becky said.
According to the singer, the key is having a partner who genuinely loves and appreciates you. She said she believes that when God brings the right person into someone’s life, the relationship can become a happy and fulfilling experience.

Her own appearance even became part of her playful argument.
“Look at me, the weight and the nyash,” she added.
Becky’s comments offer a lighthearted glimpse into how she currently views married life with Ssekajja, particularly after the couple formalised their relationship with a civil wedding ceremony in December last year.

The couple have since welcomed a baby girl, adding another chapter to their family life. The new arrival brings Becky’s total number of children to five, with four of her children from previous relationships.
For Becky, however, the bigger message appears to be about compatibility. Rather than accepting the idea that marriage must be a constant struggle, she believes having the right person beside you can make all the difference.
And judging by her own description, Becky is clearly enjoying this particular chapter of her life.
