Anita Annet Among has denied organising a party to celebrate her freedom after Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba warned that anyone involved in arranging such a gathering would be arrested.
Among addressed the reports on X on Tuesday evening, saying she had learned that a party was allegedly being organised on her behalf but had not authorised it.

She urged the public to disregard what she described as misinformation surrounding the purported celebration.
The denial came shortly after Muhoozi posted a warning of his own, making it clear that he did not want a party held for the former Speaker.
“There will be ABSOLUTELY no party for AAA. We shall arrest anybody involved in that nonsense!” Muhoozi wrote.
He added that forgiveness did not mean there were no unresolved cases, following recent developments involving Among.
Among responded directly to Muhoozi, saying there were no arrangements by either herself or people associated with her to host a party.
“My brother Gen, there are no arrangements by myself or individuals associated with me to host any party. God bless!” she added.
The exchange comes a few weeks after an end to Among’s prosecution and house arrest over corruption and illicit wealth was announced, according to the supplied report.
However, the former Speaker’s latest statement makes one point clear: she says the purported celebration was not organised by her or her associates.
For now, the reported party remains a disputed gathering, with Among distancing herself from it and Muhoozi warning against anyone attempting to organise it.
