Spice Diana is taking her next concert upmarket.
The Ugandan songstress has revealed that her January 16, 2027 concert at Marriott Hotel Nsambya will be an exclusive experience designed specifically for her VIP fans.
The move marks a significant shift from the more accessible pricing associated with many of her previous shows, where fans could attend for amounts as low as Shs20,000.
Spice Diana says the idea behind the Marriott concert is to create a more intimate and upscale experience for fans who are willing to spend considerably more for premium treatment.
The singer recently announced the concert after her most recent show at Serena Hotel, where she celebrated 10 years in the music industry.
Now, she wants the next chapter to look very different.
According to Spice Diana, one of the biggest challenges has been trying to accommodate fans with dramatically different spending levels at the same concert.
“I have been finding it difficult to combine my VIP fans who pay over a million for a table and those who pay 50,000 and 20,000.”
That has led her to separate the audiences.
“This concert is going to be for my upscale fans.”
Rather than leaving her ordinary fans behind, however, Spice Diana says she plans to stage another concert later specifically for them.
“Then I will have another concert for the other category of fans.”
The strategy means fans attending the January show should expect a different kind of concert experience from the traditional large-scale Ugandan music event.
Marriott Hotel Nsambya was selected to provide the setting for the more exclusive concept, with Spice Diana positioning the event as a one-time experience for her high-end supporters.
The singer’s approach also reflects the different ways artists can structure live shows around increasingly varied audiences, from fans looking for affordable access to those willing to pay premium prices for a more exclusive experience.
For Spice Diana, January 2027 will therefore not simply be another concert. It will be a VIP-only chapter — while her wider fan base will have to wait for the next show.
