Gospel singer Levixone is looking forward to having his wife, Desire Luzinda, back in Uganda next week as he prepares for his November 7, 2026, concert at Serena Hotel Kampala. The singer says her return will give them time together while he gets ready for the highly anticipated performance.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV, Levixone explained that Desire spends much of her time in the United States because of work but is expected to return home ahead of the concert.
And while preparations for the show remain a priority, the singer made it clear that he is equally excited about having his wife around again.

Levixone jokingly said he was looking forward to enjoying good meals and receiving affection from Desire during her stay. His remarks offered a glimpse into the couple’s home life beyond their public profiles.
The singer also used the conversation to share advice with fellow gospel musicians who are considering marriage, urging them not to rush into committed relationships.
“Give them time. These things are for being careful, and God gives each one their own timing because we also took our time,” Levixone said.
His message centered on patience and allowing relationships to develop at the right time, drawing on his own experience of taking time before settling down.
Levixone also addressed the dynamics of his marriage, challenging the idea that women must always be the decision-makers in a household. He explained that although he sees himself as the man of the home, he and Desire make decisions together.

“I am the man, but we work together, and I leave her to decide on certain things,” he explained.
The singer further emphasized the importance of separating his public identity from his responsibilities at home. For Levixone, being a celebrity does not mean leaving his domestic life to someone else without appreciating their contribution.
“When you reach home, you leave your stardom behind, but she handles all the house chores because she’s hardworking. She can cook every food,” he said.
His comments highlighted the role Desire plays in their household and the value he places on her work at home, alongside her professional commitments.
Meanwhile, Levixone is continuing preparations for his upcoming concert, scheduled for November 7 at Serena Hotel Kampala. The event is part of his ongoing music activities, with the singer preparing to take his gospel music to the stage.
For now, Desire’s expected return will give the couple an opportunity to spend time together as the concert approaches. And if Levixone’s comments are anything to go by, having his wife home means more to him than simply having another person around during a busy season: he is looking forward to the meals, affection and partnership they share.
