Ugandan singer Ceaserous has confirmed that he is single and open to finding love again following the breakdown of his relationship with Shareetah Harriet.
Speaking to Galaxy TV, the musician said his previous relationship did not work out as he had hoped, but the experience has not made him give up on the possibility of building a lasting relationship with someone new.
Ceaserous acknowledged that relationships do not always succeed, even when partners behave well and make significant sacrifices to keep them together.
“No one has the formula for a successful relationship, God just helps you and graces you with someone. We have been good mannered before, sacrificed a lot but things fail,” he said.
His comments come after the end of his highly publicised relationship with Shareetah, whom he proposed to in 2022 during a romantic yacht cruise on Lake Victoria.

The proposal followed four years of dating, with the couple appearing to be moving towards marriage. However, in September 2025, Ceaserous announced that their relationship had ended, bringing their engagement and marriage plans to a halt.
At the time, the singer attributed the breakup to the demands of his music career, explaining that his busy work and touring schedule frequently kept him away from home and limited the time he could dedicate to the relationship.
The separation marked a change in the couple’s plans after years together, but Ceaserous’s latest remarks suggest he is willing to approach relationships with a renewed outlook.
Rather than presenting heartbreak as a reason to avoid love, the singer acknowledged that even sincere efforts and personal sacrifices cannot guarantee a relationship will last.
His comments also reflect his belief that finding the right partner involves factors beyond simply following a formula for relationship success.
With his single status now confirmed, Ceaserous says he is open to another opportunity at love. He has not identified a new partner publicly, but his latest comments make clear that he has not ruled out marriage or a lasting relationship in the future.
For now, the singer appears focused on moving forward after his split from Shareetah, carrying the lessons of his previous relationship into whatever comes next.
