Lubowa Karting is preparing for a day of motorsport, food and entertainment as Ignition Tournament Season 2 takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, alongside the official opening of Pitstop Bistro, a new dining and social space at the venue.
The event, scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM, will bring together karting enthusiasts, drivers, families and spectators for a day combining competitive racing with a new hospitality offering.
Following the inaugural season, the second edition of the Ignition Tournament is expected to build on the venue’s growing motorsport experience, giving participants an opportunity to compete while spectators enjoy the action from the sidelines.
But racing will not be the only attraction this time around.
The launch of Pitstop Bistro marks an expansion of Lubowa Karting’s offering, creating a space where visitors can enjoy food and drinks, meet friends and family, and spend time at the venue beyond their time on the track.
Emil Ampofo, managing director of Lubowa Karting, said the partnership with Pitstop Bistro reflects a broader vision for the destination.

The new bistro is intended to complement the racing experience while also serving visitors who want a place to dine, relax or organise social gatherings without necessarily participating in karting.
Its opening adds another dimension to the venue, combining recreation and hospitality in one location. Visitors will be able to make the most of the event through racing, food, drinks and entertainment.
The tournament and opening celebration are open to racing enthusiasts, families, groups of friends and anyone looking for an activity-filled Saturday.
Located at Plot 1624, Lubowa Estate, in Wakiso District, Lubowa Karting offers recreational karting for individuals, families, friends and corporate groups. The venue also caters to activities such as friendly competition and team-building.
Pitstop Bistro, meanwhile, is designed to provide a relaxed setting for casual dining, celebrations and social meetings, whether as part of a karting visit or as a standalone destination.
