Ugandan musician King Saha has made it clear that he expects his hit song “Wewe” to feature prominently on the annual Bebe Cool List, joking that anything short of the top position would not be acceptable.
Saha said the song deserves to lead the compilation, adding that his name should appear in capital letters to emphasise his contribution to Uganda’s music industry.
Speaking about the annual selection, the singer humorously claimed that he had taken control of this year’s list and was giving Bebe Cool the opportunity to choose just one song for inclusion.
Saha also said he had already selected Bebe Cool’s song “Kakebele” for the compilation.
“I control this year’s list and I have allowed him to choose that one to add, and I have also picked Kakebele to be there,” Saha said humorously.

King Saha Accuses Bebe Cool of Being Selfish
Beyond the jokes about controlling the selection, Saha criticised Bebe Cool, accusing him of being selfish and sometimes failing to recognise people he believes deserve credit.
He suggested that featuring both “Wewe” and “Kakebele” would create an opportunity for the two musicians to acknowledge each other’s work.
However, Saha’s comments were presented humorously, and there is no indication in the supplied account that he has any actual authority over the compilation. The final selection remains associated with Bebe Cool.
Saha Predicts Six Songs Could Make the List
The singer also expressed confidence in his music catalogue, predicting that several of his songs could appear on the annual compilation.
“I will top the list. I’m sure I have like six songs there,” he said.

The Bebe Cool List is an annual music compilation through which the veteran Ugandan musician highlights songs and artists he considers to have made an impact during the year.
Its selections often draw attention within Uganda’s entertainment industry, particularly among musicians and fans interested in which releases receive recognition.
Saha’s remarks add his expectations to the conversation surrounding the compilation, with “Wewe” emerging as the song he most strongly wants recognised.
Whether the track claims the top position, and whether Saha secures the multiple placements he predicts, will depend on the final list.
