Last Friday, Nyege Nyege in collaboration with Talent Africa Group transformed Somewhere Else Bar in Naguru into a hauntingly vibrant Halloween playground, as partygoers gathered for the Rave to the Grave Halloween Party.
The venue came alive with thrilling performances, dynamic music, and a crowd ready to embrace their wildest, spookiest selves. From pulsating beats to eerie decorations, the event offered a unique fusion of fun and fright.
Opening Spectacle: The Nyege Nyege Portal
The evening began with the spectacular launch of the Nyege Nyege Portal, themed Ekiggunda Ky’Omuliro: Gathering of the Flame, setting a mystical tone for the night.
As darkness fell, the energy intensified with VX Faizal and DJ Rocky delivering high-energy mixes of house, hip-hop, and Afrobeat, keeping the dancefloor alive. Meanwhile, Aweko Brian captivated the crowd with his smooth Afro-pop and contemporary R&B tunes.
Star Performances Light Up the Night
The party’s lineup included R3ign Drops, known for hits like “Rise Up” and “Vibe Check,” alongside Hibotep, blending hip-hop, trap, and Afrobeat to push the crowd into uncharted musical territory.
“The fusion of sounds tonight invites everyone to explore the unknown,” one attendee said, reflecting the innovative energy of the performances.
Additionally, Authentic Voices Africa delivered vibrant, culturally rich performances, beautifully marrying traditional African sounds with contemporary music to celebrate African unity and creativity.
