Baba TV presenter and social media firebrand Pretty Nicole isn’t holding back this week — and her latest comments have Ugandan music fans talking.
During a fiery appearance on The Bang Show, the outspoken media personality criticized top Ugandan artists for lacking vision, saying most of them focus on short-lived fame instead of creating long-term impact.
Known for her bold takes and unfiltered delivery, Pretty Nicole called out several big names — including Vyroota, Cindy, and Alien Skin — accusing them of making poor career choices that could cost them future success.
“They Barely Plan for Their Future”
According to Nicole, the local entertainment scene is filled with artists who are obsessed with trends and social media buzz rather than building sustainable brands.
“They barely plan for their future,” she said bluntly. “They often look at what is trending in that moment and focus on that instead of planning to do things that would last a long time.”
The Baba TV star added that true artists should focus on longevity, professionalism, and global visibility — not just local hype.
“If you have a vision, you would plan for things that make sense in the future,” she added.
Calling Out Alien Skin
Pretty Nicole didn’t mince words when it came to Alien Skin, one of Uganda’s most controversial yet popular artists.
She accused the Fangone Forest boss of “misusing his opportunity to shine”, referencing the moment he reportedly turned down a collaboration offer from Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
“Artists like Vyroota, Cindy, and Alien Skin, you lack vision,” Nicole declared.
“He (Alien Skin) misused his opportunity to shine and be impactful for the future. He even rejected a collaboration with Diamond Platnumz.”
The comment sent shockwaves through social media, with many fans debating whether Alien Skin’s decision was a missed opportunity or a move of artistic independence.
Nicole, however, was firm in her stance, insisting that such decisions show a lack of foresight and ambition.
“He is faded now,” she added, before delivering a line that has since gone viral:
“How does a star like that still even move with boys who still shower with blue soap?”
The sharp jab instantly made rounds online, with users quoting and remixing the statement into memes and TikTok clips.

The Vision vs. Clout Debate
Pretty Nicole’s remarks reignited a familiar debate in Uganda’s music circles: Should artists prioritize viral trends or long-term legacy?
While some agreed with her critique, others argued that the entertainment industry thrives on trends — and that artists must adapt to stay relevant.
Music analyst and industry veteran DJ Arafat commented that Nicole’s points, though harsh, had truth behind them.
“She’s saying what many insiders already know,” he explained. “There’s a difference between being hot right now and being remembered forever. Many artists here still don’t get that.”
Fans React: “She Said What Needed to Be Said”
Social media lit up following Nicole’s televised remarks.
Supporters praised her for her honesty, calling her “the female Charlemagne Tha God” of Ugandan TV, while others accused her of stirring drama for attention.
One fan wrote:
“Pretty Nicole is right. Most artists blow up, then forget to evolve. We need vision, not vibes.”
Another fired back:
“She loves talking about artists for clout. Let her try managing one before judging!”
Still, it’s undeniable that her words struck a chord — pushing conversations about artistry, ambition, and professionalism to the forefront.
Not New to Controversy
This isn’t the first time Pretty Nicole has ruffled feathers with her outspoken opinions.
The TV host, influencer, and content creator has built a reputation for telling it like it is, often calling out celebrities for what she sees as mediocrity or hypocrisy in the entertainment industry.
While critics accuse her of being too harsh, her fans say that’s exactly what makes her one of the most watchable and influential women in Ugandan media today.
The Message Beneath the Fire
Behind the tough talk, Nicole’s message is clear — Uganda’s artists have the potential to dominate Africa’s music scene, but only if they start thinking beyond short-term fame.
“Having talent isn’t enough anymore,” she said. “You need structure, discipline, and vision. The world is watching — but only those who plan will last.”
As the Ugandan music industry continues to evolve, Nicole’s remarks could serve as a wake-up call for many rising stars who might be too focused on the now to think about what comes next.
