Fashion designer, entrepreneur, and civil servant Sylvia Damalie Owori has finally addressed years of speculation linking her romantically to singer-turned-politician Bobi Wine.

In a recent statement, Owori categorically denied any romantic involvement, insisting that her connection to Bobi Wine was strictly professional.

“It is not true that I ever had a relationship with Bobi Wine. Bobi Wine is my young brother,” Owori explained.

She elaborated that during her time managing Miss Uganda, she often worked with some of Uganda’s biggest stars, including Bobi Wine, Jose Chameleone, and Bebe Cool, booking them for performances and appearances—but nothing more.

“I used to book him, as well as Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool, when I was still in the Miss Uganda business. They’re my young brothers,” she added.

Owori’s comments come after years of public speculation and online chatter suggesting a romantic link between her and the iconic singer-politician. With her statement, she aims to put the rumors to rest, emphasizing respect, professional collaboration, and mentorship over anything personal.

“I have never even heard of such rumors before. They are completely baseless,” Owori said firmly.
