The Ugandan dance fraternity is in shock and on high alert following the mysterious disappearance of Vanessa Namanja, popularly known as Virginia, one half of the dance duo Mayani and Virginia.

The 22-year-old dancer reportedly vanished from her parents’ home last week, leaving family, friends, and fellow dancers deeply concerned for her safety.

“I last saw Virginia last week on Tuesday afternoon at around 1 pm. On Wednesday, her best friend called and told me that she had run away from home and her mom was looking for her,” he revealed.

The news of her disappearance came as a shock to Mayanni, who has since joined in the search effort alongside the dancer’s family and colleagues.

Reports indicate that Virginia has been spotted in multiple locations over the past few days, raising both hope and concern among those looking for her.
