Radio presenter and emcee Timothy CODE, real name Timothy Muhumuza, has officially announced his departure from Next Media, ending a one-and-a-half-year stint at the media powerhouse.

Known in both entertainment and corporate circles, Timothy CODE, also known as Crown Boy, joined Next Media in June 2024 after leaving Sanyu FM the previous month. During his time at Next Media, he hosted the popular Next Tranzit show every weekday from 3 pm to 7 pm on Next Radio Ug, winning a loyal fanbase for his engaging style.

Heartfelt Goodbye on Social Media

On Wednesday afternoon, Timothy shared the news with his fans via social media, reflecting on his journey with gratitude and optimism for what lies ahead.

“After joining Next Media in June 2024, I wish to formally confirm the conclusion of my engagement with Next Radio 106.1 FM and the Next Media Group,” he wrote.

He thanked the organization for the opportunity, mentorship, and collaborative environment.

“The Next Media Experience has been both professionally fulfilling and creatively enriching, and I am thankful for the collaboration, mentorship, and shared commitment to excellence throughout my time there,” he added.
