Ugandan TikTok personality Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has died following health complications after undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
News of Jayden’s passing was announced Tuesday morning by fellow TikToker Sheilah Price, with close friends and associates later confirming the news.
Jayden had been battling serious health complications linked to sickle cell disease, a struggle that sparked a fundraising campaign among fellow content creators, friends and well-wishers to help finance his treatment.

His treatment eventually took him to India, where he reportedly underwent a bone marrow transplant in July. At the time, reports indicated that the procedure had been successful and that Jayden was recovering.
His health situation, however, later took a worrying turn.
In recent weeks, reports emerged that Jayden’s condition had deteriorated and that he had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Media personality Kasuku also shared updates concerning his condition during that period.
Despite efforts to support his treatment and save his life, Jayden has now died.

His death marks a painful loss for Uganda’s online entertainment community, where he had built a following as a TikTok personality. His family, friends, fellow content creators and fans are now mourning his passing.
Jayden’s health journey had already brought together people across Uganda through the fundraising effort launched to support his treatment. His death comes after months of public concern over his condition and efforts to help him access medical care.
For those who followed his journey, Jayden’s story is now being remembered not only for his presence on TikTok but also for the community effort that surrounded him during his illness.
