Ava Peace has revealed that maintaining her beauty, including her makeup and skincare routine, costs her more than $3,000, a figure she admitted she initially hesitated to disclose.
Speaking to NRG Radio Uganda, the Ugandan singer said she expected people to be shocked by the amount before eventually revealing the cost of her beauty maintenance.
Ava explained that she sometimes gets her skincare products through her brother, who works as a teacher in Thailand.
“I have a brother who’s a teacher in Thailand. I usually contact him for my skincare, but right now someone has to take over $3,000, but I know people are going to get angry.”
The singer also made it clear that she does not rely on men to pay for her beauty routine.
Instead, Ava said she is comfortable spending her own money on maintaining her appearance, describing it as something she chooses to do for herself.
“It’s only up to you to know that maybe I need it, but if you don’t do it, I won’t force you because they are mine.”
Ava further explained that she sees no problem with using her own money to maintain the look she wants.
“So it’s very okay to use my money because at the end of the day, you’re the very person who’s going to be with your friends and be proud of my looks.”
Her comments highlight the significant personal spending that can come with maintaining a polished public image, particularly for artists whose appearances are closely followed by fans.
For Ava, however, the expense is ultimately a personal choice—and one she says she is willing to make with her own money.
