Ugandan music duo Kataleya and Kandle are taking their next big step with plans to stage their maiden concert in 2027.
The announcement comes as the pair prepare to mark their seventh year as professional artists, giving them a chance to celebrate their journey with their fans on a live stage.
Kataleya and Kandle entered the music scene with Muzibe wa Love, released in July 2021, and have since built a catalog that includes their latest single, Sinnaba.

Their journey has not always been smooth, particularly when it comes to management, but the challenges have not stopped the duo from releasing music and performing for audiences.
They have also shared stages with major artists and collaborated with musicians from Uganda and across East Africa.
Now, the duo wants to turn their seven-year milestone into a major live celebration.
Kataleya and Kandle have confirmed that 2027 will be the year they host their first concert, although they have not yet revealed the exact date or venue.
That leaves fans waiting for the two details that will ultimately shape the event — where the concert will happen and when.

The announcement has already drawn mixed reactions online, with some questioning the timing of the concert. The duo, however, remains confident about the decision and appears ready to make their long-awaited live show a defining moment in their career.
For Kataleya and Kandle, the 2027 concert will represent more than another performance. It will mark the next chapter of a partnership that has survived management challenges, produced multiple releases and continued to grow its audience since the duo began their professional journey.
