Zari Hassan has drawn a firm line on relationship drama, saying she would rather leave her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, than get involved in public disputes with other women over their marriage.
The socialite and businesswoman shared her views during a Master Class session over the weekend, where she discussed money, personal branding, relationships and the importance of women building their own identities.
Her comments stood out as she explained how she approaches marriage and protects her public image, making it clear that she would not allow a relationship dispute to pull her into a social media scandal.

Zari said she would be prepared to walk away if Shakib chose to become involved in a situation that required her to compete with another woman publicly.
“Those scandals involving other women fighting for men are not for me. If my husband decides to take that route then it is well but I won’t be part of it; I will leave him,” she said.
Rather than engaging in public confrontations, Zari indicated that she would choose separation over becoming part of a controversy that could affect how people perceive her.
Her position reflects the importance she places on maintaining control over her personal brand, which has become a significant part of her public profile as a businesswoman and social media personality.
Zari also revealed that she has discussed the issue directly with Shakib, making her expectations clear about how his decisions could affect her reputation.
“I have told my husband that I will choose my brand over and over again because if he really loves me, he won’t put my brand in any mess,” she said.
She added that she expects him to consider the potential consequences of his actions, particularly when those actions could draw her into public controversy.
“If he has a heart for me and knows that it is the job that pays me, he won’t associate with anything dramatic that affects my brand. At the end of the day, we are old enough to make our decisions,” she added.

Zari’s remarks place personal independence and professional reputation at the centre of her relationship philosophy. While she acknowledged that both partners are responsible for their own decisions, she stressed that she would not sacrifice the brand she has built to remain in a marriage.
Her comments also touch on a broader issue faced by public figures whose relationships often attract attention online. When private disagreements become public controversies, the fallout can extend beyond the couple to affect their businesses, endorsements and public image.
For Zari, the message is straightforward: she is not prepared to compete with other women for her husband or participate in public relationship battles.
Instead, she says she would walk away if the situation threatened her peace or the reputation she has worked to establish.
