Ugandan gospel singer Levixone is giving his wife, Desire Luzinda, her flowers, and this time, it is not about music or public appearances. The singer has opened up about the qualities he loves most about her, with her kindness, hospitality and cooking topping the list.
Speaking about their relationship, Levixone, whose real name is Sam Lucas Lubyogo, described Desire as a woman who genuinely loves people and makes everyone around her feel welcome.
But there is one particular talent he appears especially impressed by: her cooking.
According to the gospel star, whenever he has visitors, Desire makes sure they are properly looked after, often spending hours preparing meals for everyone.
“The way she loves people. She’s welcoming. That woman can cook. When I have visitors, she cooks for people from morning to evening. She’s a very good cook and cooks very often,” he said.
For Levixone, her hospitality is more than just preparing food. It is part of the way she expresses care for the people around her.
Desire Luzinda is making sure he eats
The singer also shared a personal detail about how Desire has been looking after him following the demanding preparations for his recent concert.
Levixone revealed that the stress surrounding the event had caused him to lose some weight. However, since Desire returned, she has reportedly made it her mission to ensure he eats properly.
He says she regularly encourages him to have meals, with the results already becoming noticeable.
“I had even lost some weight due to the concert stress, but when she returned, she always forces me to eat. And the gain is evident in my life. She pleads with me to eat,” he explained.
The singer’s comments offered a glimpse into the couple’s domestic life, showing a more personal side of their relationship away from the spotlight.
The Irish potato meal he cannot forget
Levixone also recalled a special dish Desire prepared for him, revealing that she once surprised him with an unusual take on Irish potatoes.
He described the meal as Irish potatoes prepared in the style of chapati, something he had never tasted before but thoroughly enjoyed.
“She cooked me a special meal that I had never tasted before. There is a way she cooked Irish potatoes in a chapati way, and when I tried it, it was delicious,” he said.
His remarks have given fans another glimpse into the couple’s relationship, with the singer highlighting the everyday gestures that make him appreciate his wife.
