Media personality Destiny Ezeyim, popularly known as Radiogad, has alleged that Nigerian music star Davido privately contacted him and asked him to delete videos criticising Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Radiogad made the claims in a video shared on his Instagram page, saying the singer reached out through his direct messages shortly after he published the videos about the governor.
According to the media personality, Davido wanted him to take down the content, but he chose not to respond to the alleged message.
Radiogad maintained that he had the right to express his views about Nigeria and its leadership, insisting that his comments were not driven by political interests.
Instead, he said his criticism reflected his personal concerns about the country’s challenges and the experiences of Nigerians.
“Davido quickly entered my DM. He wanted me to bring down that video, but I did not reply him,” Radiogad said.

He added that his position would not change regardless of whether the singer continued following him on social media.
“I always stand for the truth. Whether you are following me or you are not following me, I will keep standing for the truth,” he stated.
Radiogad also questioned why Nigerians living abroad should remain outside the country if things were working as they should.
“If Nigeria good, wetin I dey do for UK? If Nigeria dey work, wetin I go do here?” he asked.
The media personality further claimed that Davido unfollowed him after he ignored the alleged request to remove the videos.
The claims suggest a disagreement between the two personalities over Radiogad’s public criticism of Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle.
However, the alleged private exchange has not been independently verified, and Davido’s side of the story was not included in Radiogad’s account.
For now, Radiogad says he intends to continue expressing his views, regardless of the reported social media fallout.
