A Festival Meets Adventure Paradise
Nyege Nyege has never just been about music—it’s an experience.

More Than Music: Fashion, Film & Dialogue
For its 10th year, Nyege Nyege is expanding beyond the stage. Expect fashion, film, and forums to take the spotlight:
- Fashion Takeover – With Kwetu Kwanza, the festival will spotlight sustainable African fashion brands making waves regionally and globally.
- Film Showcase – Matatu Stage will curate short films from Uganda and across Africa, adding a cinematic twist to the festival experience.
- Conferences & Workshops – A daytime hub for skills-sharing and dialogue.
- African Electronic Music Conference – The first of its kind, convening 15+ cultural organizations from across the continent to discuss the future of African sound.
Uganda’s Biggest Tourism Magnet
Backed by Explore Uganda, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), and the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Nyege Nyege is more than a party—it’s Uganda’s largest international tourism event.

Thousands of visitors fly in annually, turning the festival into a gateway for exploring Uganda’s national parks, lakes, wildlife, and cultural sites.
