King Saha (real name Mansur Ssemanda) has spoken out about a potential music battle with fellow Ugandan star and UNMF president Eddy Kenzo, and as expected, the comments are stirring up major buzz.

During an interview with Eddy Sendi, the topic of a showdown between the two industry heavyweights was raised. Known for their occasional clashes over ideology and political affiliations, the question seemed to intrigue Saha — but he made it clear he has no intention of being overshadowed.

“Bring Him — But I’d Be Cheating Myself”

King Saha didn’t shy away from asserting his musical superiority over Kenzo.

“Bring him. Bring him, and you too will enjoy the music,” he said.
“On that day, you would understand that I am such a great artist. I often limit myself. In fact, I would be cheating myself. You would have to add another artist for that battle to happen.”

His statement implies that Saha sees himself operating on a different level, suggesting that a one-on-one battle would not do justice to his talent.

A Subtle Shade at Eddy Kenzo

Beyond his confidence, Saha also took a swipe at Kenzo’s current musical relevance.

“I barely see him perform anywhere. His music has faded,” Saha remarked.

This isn’t the first time Saha and Kenzo have been in the headlines for their differences, with clashes over music styles, industry leadership, and political leanings making them two of Uganda’s most talked-about stars.

Fans have long speculated about a potential showdown between the two, imagining the spectacle of two Ugandan music icons facing off — but Saha’s comments make it clear he feels the balance of power is firmly in his favor.

King Saha: The Performer Who Limits Himself

King Saha’s bold declaration isn’t just about shade — it’s also a statement of artistic pride. Known for his electrifying live performances and vocal prowess, Saha claims he often holds back, meaning any public battle would only showcase a fraction of his talent.

“I often limit myself. You would have to add another artist for that battle to happen,” he repeated, underlining his belief that his performance alone would overshadow Kenzo.

Industry watchers suggest that Saha’s remarks could spark renewed debates about music supremacy in Uganda, especially as both artists have legions of loyal fans who closely follow their every move.

Fans React: “The King Has Spoken”

Social media erupted following Saha’s interview. Many praised his confidence and honesty, calling him “the true showman of Uganda.” Others speculated whether a multi-artist battle could eventually happen — with some proposing dream matchups including Fik Fameica, Navio, or The Mith as additional challengers.

“King Saha just reminded everyone why he’s a legend. Kenzo can’t even compare,” one fan wrote.
“We need that multi-artist battle now! Saha is untouchable,” added another.

The Bigger Picture

King Saha’s comments highlight a growing rivalry narrative in Uganda’s music scene. While both artists are celebrated for their achievements, Saha’s bold words reinforce the idea that he views himself at the top tier of talent, particularly when it comes to live performance and stage presence.

Whether this rivalry will ever lead to an official music battle remains uncertain — but for now, Saha’s words have cemented him as one of Uganda’s most confident and outspoken performers.

Do you think King Saha could actually outshine Eddy Kenzo in a music battle?
