Starting Young: Hustling at 15

A Father’s Death… and Miraculous Return

Beyond his personal hustle, Mwanje shared a deeply emotional and unbelievable family experience involving his father. The singer revealed that while spending a holiday with his mother, he received devastating news.

“The news of my father’s passing found me spending my holiday with my mother. I loved her so much. Somehow, God did something that saved me from chaos,” Mwanje recounted.

His father had reportedly been pronounced dead at Mulago Hospital, and funeral preparations had begun in the family village. But what happened next left the family in utter shock.

“When he was checked out of the hospital and had been announced dead, by the time they reached the village, they were saying that he was alive. Because he woke up,” Mwanje revealed.

The miraculous resurrection not only stunned his family but also profoundly affected Mwanje’s outlook on life, teaching him to cherish every moment with loved ones.

A Son’s Unwavering Love

Mwanje reflected on the depth of his bond with his father, describing a love so strong that he had jokingly vowed he would be buried alongside him — a wish that thankfully never came to pass.

“The way I loved him so much, I was vowing that I would be buried with him, which is not possible,” Mwanje said emotionally.

This extraordinary experience, combined with his early hardships, has left an indelible mark on Mwanje, shaping not just his personal philosophy but also his artistic expression.
