Ugandan TikToker Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, has reportedly returned to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in India after suffering what entertainment journalist Isaac Ssematimba, known as Kasuku, described as a relapse following his recent bone marrow transplant.
Jayden is currently receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital in India, where he underwent the transplant early last month.
According to Kasuku, Jayden initially appeared to be improving after the procedure, but his condition has since reportedly deteriorated.
The latest update has raised concern among people following Jayden’s recovery, although Kasuku says doctors have given a 50/50 assessment and remain hopeful that his body can overcome the difficult stage.
Jayden’s recovery has reportedly taken a worrying turn just weeks after he underwent a bone marrow transplant in India.
According to Kasuku, the young TikToker is currently at Fortis Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment following the procedure.
Kasuku said Jayden initially showed signs of improvement after the transplant and that he was even able to check on him recently.

However, information later reaching people close to Jayden reportedly indicated that his condition had deteriorated and that he had been moved back to the ICU.
“Jayden is at Fortis Hospital in India. It’s one of the best hospitals and it’s where most of our rich tycoons here go for treatment. Unfortunately, he relapsed.”
Kasuku said the period immediately following a bone marrow transplant can be particularly difficult because the patient’s body is still adjusting to the procedure.
He explained that Jayden’s family had been warned that his immunity would remain extremely low during this stage of the recovery.
According to Kasuku, he received a call from a person who had recommended the hospital and helped connect Jayden’s family with the doctor treating him.
That person reportedly informed him that Jayden had been taken back to the ICU.
Despite the concerning update, Kasuku said doctors have not ruled out the possibility of recovery.
He described their assessment as “50/50,” explaining that Jayden’s body is still fresh from the transplant and could be reacting to the procedure.
Kasuku said doctors remain hopeful that Jayden can overcome the current stage.
He further explained that if Jayden manages to get through the difficult period and makes it through the rest of the year, his chances of recovery could significantly improve.
Kasuku also said Jayden’s immunity is expected to begin improving after approximately six months, while full recovery from a bone marrow transplant could take as long as two years.
For now, however, Jayden remains under medical care as doctors monitor his condition.
Jayden, whose real name is Timothy Kayanja, is a Ugandan TikToker and entertainer.
His recent health journey has attracted attention from fans and fellow entertainers, particularly following his decision to travel to India for a bone marrow transplant.
The procedure was successfully carried out early last month, according to the information provided by Kasuku.
Following the transplant, Jayden reportedly showed signs of improvement, giving those close to him reason to remain hopeful about his recovery.
The latest development comes only weeks after that procedure.
Kasuku’s account also highlights why the period immediately following a bone marrow transplant can be challenging, with the body requiring time to adjust and the patient’s immune system remaining particularly vulnerable.
According to the information he shared, Jayden’s recovery is expected to be a long process rather than something that happens immediately after the procedure.
Jayden’s reported return to the ICU comes at a particularly difficult point in his recovery.
A bone marrow transplant is followed by a lengthy recovery period, and Kasuku’s account suggests that Jayden’s body is still adjusting to the procedure.
The 50/50 assessment reportedly given by doctors reflects the uncertainty surrounding his current condition.
At the same time, Kasuku’s comments indicate that medical professionals remain hopeful that Jayden can overcome the present setback.
The reported six-month timeline for improvement in immunity and the possibility of a recovery lasting up to two years also underline the scale of the journey ahead.

For Jayden’s supporters, the immediate focus remains on his condition and the medical care he is receiving in India.
The latest update comes after fans and fellow entertainers rallied around Jayden following news of his bone marrow transplant.
His initial improvement had offered encouragement to those following his journey, making the reported relapse particularly concerning.
Kasuku’s account also suggests that Jayden’s recovery was always expected to be a long and difficult process.
While the latest development is serious, doctors are reportedly continuing to monitor him, and there remains hope that his body can respond positively to treatment.
