KAMPALA — Miss Uganda 2025/26, Muhoza Trivia Elle, is speaking out after facing waves of online hate and trolling since being crowned. The 24-year-old beauty queen revealed that some social media users have questioned her nationality, claimed she is Rwandan, and even made threats against her safety.

Ignoring the Noise, Focusing on Her Crown

While congratulatory messages flooded her inbox, Muhoza chose to ignore the trolls and focus on her duties as the new Miss Uganda. In a recent TV interview, she explained that she does not personally read hateful comments and relies on friends to filter what reaches her, keeping her mental peace intact.

Da Agent

“Honestly, I have not been reading comments like that. My friends are the ones who keep showing them to me, and they have seen those claiming I’m not Ugandan and telling me to go back to my country. On my phone, I never see them because I do not want to keep reading them. I want to keep peace of mind and concentrate on what I have to do,” Muhoza said.

Threats That Shocked Her

Despite her calm approach, one comment in particular caught her attention — a direct threat aimed at driving her back to Rwanda. Muhoza stressed that while some attacks target her appearance or background, they reveal nothing about her personality or character.

Spice Diana

“That was the biggest thing I think I have read, but everything else about my looks and all is useless. You do not know my personality, so you cannot come up to me. You do not know me or who I am, but if you are judging me based on how I look, that is your opinion. Even when you insult me, that is your opinion, and I cannot change it,” she explained.
