WizBu Ranks is getting a major taste of viral success as his freestyle “Nabba Embwa” continues making waves across TikTok, with the catchy track finding its way into dance challenges, business adverts and comedy clips.
The ghetto youth sensation says the song’s popularity has also brought him a new level of attention, including a television appearance on Sanyuka TV where he explained the unusual real-life experience that inspired the freestyle.
According to WizBu, “Nabba Embwa” was born from an incident involving a group of dogs he regularly walked with — even though the animals did not belong to him.
“This song is out of a very, very true story,” WizBu explained. “I had a habit of taking strolls with a group of dogs in my company. But those dogs didn’t belong to me.”
Things reportedly took a serious turn after one of those walks.
“So, one day, after making a stroll with the dogs, guys came into our compound claiming that I had stolen their dogs. Then I was taken to prison for just such a cause,” he said.
WizBu also recalled his reaction when he eventually saw the dog he had allegedly been accused of stealing.
“When I looked at the kind of dog they had accused me of stealing, however much I would have fed it, it wouldn’t yield any positive results,” he said.

The unusual story has now become attached to a song that is enjoying an entirely different kind of attention. “Nabba Embwa,” reproduced from the popular “Whine & Kotch” riddim, has become a recurring sound across TikTok, appearing in everything from dance content to humorous videos and commercial promotions.
That visibility is also starting to translate into opportunities for WizBu.
The young artist recently received a free haircut and facial makeover from Bryan Barber, giving him a fresh look he had reportedly admired for some time.
Beyond the makeover, WizBu is reportedly attracting business promotional gigs as more people discover his music and personality through the viral freestyle.
For an artist who previously struggled for attention, the sudden momentum surrounding “Nabba Embwa” represents a noticeable shift. The song has given WizBu increased visibility while opening doors to new opportunities and income.
And with the freestyle continuing to circulate across social media, WizBu Ranks now has a very different problem from the one that inspired the song: figuring out just how far “Nabba Embwa” can take him.
