Ugandan comedy heavyweights Patrick “Salvado” Idringi and Dr Hillary Okello are set to share the stage for 2 Kings One Mic, a comedy show scheduled for Friday, October 23, at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Supported by I&M Bank Uganda as the official banking partner, the event brings together two of the country’s best-known English-language comedians for an evening of humour, live music and special guest performances.
Both comedians have built followings among audiences in Uganda and beyond, with their performances appealing to fans across different generations. The show is designed to showcase their individual styles and what they can deliver when they perform together.
I&M Bank Backs Uganda’s Comedy Scene
Annette Nakiyaga, I&M Bank’s Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, said the partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting local talent and engaging customers beyond traditional banking services.
“Salvado and Dr. Hillary need no introduction. They are among the best in the country and beyond, so this is an opportunity for I&M Bank to support the arts, celebrate Uganda’s entertainment industry and be part of something our customers will genuinely enjoy,” Nakiyaga said.
The partnership places the bank alongside a major entertainment event, bringing its brand closer to audiences through Uganda’s growing comedy scene.

Salvado Says the Show Is About Collaboration, Not Competition
Salvado said preparations for 2 Kings One Mic had been underway for months, with the comedians working to create an experience that goes beyond the short skits audiences may have seen on social media.
“We have been preparing for this show for months, and we are excited about what we have put together. You have probably seen some of our skits on social media, but those are just a small taste of what we have in store,” he said.
He added that the show was intended to demonstrate what artists can achieve by working together rather than competing against each other.
Dr Hillary Okello also described the event as a distinctive comedy experience, saying the focus would be on delivering laughs and giving fans a memorable evening.
Live Music and Guest Performances
The show will be hosted by Dr Mitch Egwang and performed entirely in English. Organisers have also planned a limited number of guest performers to complement the two headline acts.
Janzi Band will lead the live music experience, while DJ Tony Wallace is expected to keep the atmosphere lively with music throughout the evening.
Ticket Prices and Booking
According to the event announcement, general admission tickets are priced at Shs100,000, with a discounted price of Shs80,000 available through MTN MoMo. Table packages are listed at Shs3 million and Shs5 million.
With Salvado and Dr Hillary sharing the stage, the show promises an evening built around collaboration, live entertainment and two distinct comedic voices.
