Music veteran Bebe Cool is set to return with a major concert in 2027 — but this time, he says the show will be built around a cause beyond music.
The singer has announced that his next major concert will be dedicated to the wives of Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) soldiers, whom he describes as “the forgotten heroes.”
Bebe Cool made the announcement on X, explaining that the women who support their families while their husbands serve in the military deserve recognition and appreciation.
“I will hold my concert next year and it will be dedicated to the wives of the soldiers of the UPDF. THE FORGOTTEN HEROES.”
The announcement marks Bebe Cool’s return to the major-concert spotlight after a lengthy break from staging his own mega shows.
His last major concert was held in 2021 at Kololo Independence Grounds, attracting significant attention and high-profile guests, including President Yoweri Museveni.
Since then, Bebe Cool has remained active in the music industry, performing on different stages and continuing to release new material.
In 2025, he released his Break The Chains album, adding another project to a catalogue built over his long career in Uganda’s mainstream music scene.
For his 2027 return, however, Bebe Cool appears determined to give the concert a different identity by placing the spotlight on the women he believes are often overlooked while their husbands serve in the military.
The singer has not yet announced the concert’s specific date, venue or other event details.
For now, fans know one thing: when Bebe Cool returns with his next major concert, he intends for the show to carry a message beyond the stage.
