Ugandan socialite Judith Heard is marking 800 days of sobriety while reflecting publicly on the dramatic lifestyle changes she says have reshaped her life.
Heard shared the milestone on social media, saying she no longer wants “pieces” of her old life and instead wants to remain focused on her Christian faith.
The socialite said her journey has involved giving up several habits over different periods. According to Heard, she has gone more than two years without alcohol, more than a year without vaping or marijuana, and more than three years without tobacco.
She also revealed that she has practiced celibacy for more than two years.
“800 DAYS SOBER. When I look at these numbers, I don’t just see days. I see decisions, I see battles nobody witnessed, I see prayers, I see discipline, I see freedom, and above everything, I see the grace of God,” Heard wrote.
Her post framed the milestone not simply as a count of sober days but as part of what she described as a broader spiritual transformation.

Heard said she no longer asks how much of her previous lifestyle she can retain while following Christ. Instead, she said she is focused on what she needs to leave behind in order to live according to her faith.
“I don’t want pieces of my old life back. I want JESUS,” she wrote, while quoting Galatians 2:20 in reference to her Christian journey.
Heard has used her social media platforms over the past several years to document her faith and encourage followers to embrace what she describes as a changed way of living.
She also used the 800-day milestone to address people struggling with addiction, emphasizing that recovery can begin with a single day.
“To anyone fighting addiction: Day 1 matters. Keep going. Your story is not over,” Heard wrote.
For Heard, the milestone represents more than sobriety. It is a public marker of the lifestyle and faith commitments she says she has chosen to maintain as she continues forward.
