Ugandan hip-hop star The Mith is preparing to take fans on a musical and cultural journey through Uganda with The So UG Experience, a live celebration scheduled for November 14, 2026, at Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala.
Also known as Mr So UG, the rapper, songwriter and cultural storyteller is bringing together some of Uganda’s recognised music talents for an event designed to celebrate the country’s identity, creativity and musical heritage.
More than a conventional concert, The So UG Experience is being presented as an opportunity for audiences to connect with Uganda through music, storytelling and the experiences that have shaped The Mith’s artistic journey.
The event carries the theme of taking flight with The Mith into his Uganda, drawing inspiration from his catalogue, the evolution of Ugandan hip-hop and the cultural influences behind his sound and worldview.
The lineup includes Lillian Mbabazi, Maurice Kirya, Navio, Elijah Kitaka, Feffe Bussi, Winnie Nwagi, Bigtril and Flex D’Paper, with additional performers expected to feature.
The gathering will also revisit the journey of an artist whose contribution to Ugandan hip-hop stretches back to his beginnings with pioneering group Klear Kut. Since moving into his solo career, The Mith has continued exploring themes of identity, belonging, ambition, social consciousness and African life through his music.

His approach has helped demonstrate how hip-hop can go beyond entertainment, providing a platform for cultural expression, social reflection and stories rooted in everyday African experiences.
Through this event, audiences will have an opportunity to revisit his music while discovering the ideas and experiences behind his creative journey.
The organisers’ creative concept centres on a flight into Uganda, celebrating the country through its people, sounds and creative voices. Although the journey is personal to The Mith, its central themes — heritage, national pride, identity and progress — are intended to connect with a wider audience.
Tickets have been listed at UGX 30,000 for early-bird entry, UGX 50,000 at the gate and UGX 100,000 for Business Class. First Class is priced at UGX 2 million per table of five.
With a lineup spanning different generations and sounds of Ugandan music, The So UG Experience is shaping up as a celebration of both The Mith’s career and the broader cultural identity of the country’s music scene.
The event takes place on Saturday, November 14, at Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala.
