Ugandan music stars rallied behind Dokta Brain at his final press conference on Monday, September 21, praising the songwriter and artist ahead of his upcoming concert.
Artists, producers, media personalities and other celebrities gathered at Skyz Hotel, Naguru, for the final media event ahead of “The DoorKey Experience,” scheduled for Saturday, September 26, at the same venue.
The gathering turned into a show of support for Dokta Brain, with several fellow creatives describing him as an exceptional talent and one of Uganda’s standout songwriters.
Among those who spoke was Rema Namakula, who said she has long felt that Dokta Brain has been underrated.
“You’re one of the greatest writers. I’ve never gotten to watch you perform with a live band, and I am excited to see you show people what you are capable of.”
Rema also encouraged Dokta Brain to continue believing in his abilities, telling him that he is “great.”
Yung Mulo focused on the importance of artists supporting one another, explaining why he attended the press conference.
He recalled seeing a video of Dokta Brain crying during the previous press conference and said it affected him deeply.
“I had to turn up here today as the symbol of the fraternity amongst artists because we are able to do that.”
Mulo urged other creatives to support their friends when they launch projects or take on major career milestones.
Feffe Bussi also praised Dokta Brain’s abilities, describing his talent as exceptional and highlighting their history of working together.
“He is one of the artists I have been able to comfortably work with all the time. That is rare among artists.”
Sheebah echoed the sentiment, revealing that she would readily work with Dokta Brain again.
The singer said the two have already completed a song together and that she would not hesitate to return to the studio with him if he called.
“Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. We are grateful, and we love you.”
With just days to go before The DoorKey Experience, the messages from his peers have added another layer of anticipation around Dokta Brain’s concert, particularly as he prepares to take his music to the stage with a live band.
The concert is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Skyz Hotel, Naguru.
