Ugandan singer and songwriter Ceaserous, real name Solomon Sentongo, has shared his unfiltered thoughts on one of the most controversial trends in the local music scene — the growing culture of publicity stunts.

Best known for his 2017 breakout hit “Dangerous,” Ceaserous says he has never believed in gimmicks or fake drama as a way to stay in the spotlight. Instead, he insists that authentic talent, hard work, and divine timing are what truly sustain a career in music.

🚫 “I Don’t Believe in Pulling Stunts”

In a candid interview, Ceaserous made it clear that while many artists chase attention through shock tactics and social media drama, that’s simply not his path.

“I would have pulled off stunts back then,” he admitted. “But I don’t believe in them. When God blessed me with the breakthrough, I didn’t have to come up with stunts.”

He continued with firm conviction:

“I still think that the same God who blessed me last time can provide me with the same opportunity and help me hit the ground running. Because we are just starting.”

🌟 The Man Behind the Hit “Dangerous”

Back in 2017, Ceaserous became a household name with the release of “Dangerous,” a smooth Afrobeat banger that topped charts and dominated Ugandan airwaves.

The song not only established him as one of the country’s most promising artists but also showcased his ability to craft timeless music without relying on controversy.

Now, after a brief break from the spotlight, the artist says he’s gearing up for a major comeback, one fueled by maturity, faith, and fresh creativity.

💪 “The Industry Is Changing — But Real Talent Still Wins”

As Uganda’s entertainment scene continues to evolve — with TikTok challenges, viral beefs, and online drama shaping public attention — Ceaserous believes the foundation of music should still be genuine art.

“With the industry evolving, I’m optimistic,” he shared. “Real talent still has a place, and my moment to shine again is on the horizon.”

While other artists rely on social buzz or sensational headlines to remain relevant, Ceaserous is betting on a comeback driven by music with meaning.

⚡ Weighing In on the Music Battle Craze

In recent months, music battles have taken over Uganda’s entertainment scene — from friendly face-offs to viral fan wars between big names like Sheebah, Cindy, and Bebe Cool.

Ceaserous isn’t entirely against the trend, but he’s urging caution.

“Music battles are good,” he explained. “They can make and elevate artists. But they also have their dangers and shortcomings.”

According to Ceaserous, while these face-offs can boost visibility and spark creativity, they can also lead to unnecessary fan division that lasts long after the battle ends.

“Sometimes battles create a deep separation between fans who take it personally,” he added.

His balanced take shows a mature perspective in an industry often driven by rivalry and hype.

🎧 Growth, Faith, and a New Chapter

Ceaserous also used the opportunity to share what he’s been up to during his break from active music. Contrary to public perception, he hasn’t been idle.

“A break is good for your health,” he told Sanyuka TV. “During mine, I still made music and learned about production to grow.”

His focus has been on personal growth and technical mastery — from songwriting to sound engineering — preparing himself for a stronger and more self-sufficient return to the stage.

This new Ceaserous era, he says, will reflect not only his musical evolution but also his spiritual grounding and commitment to authenticity.

🌍 A Faith-Driven Comeback

For Ceaserous, his comeback isn’t just about reclaiming fame — it’s about reconnecting with purpose. He credits every success he’s had to faith and divine timing rather than industry manipulation or controversy.

“The same God who blessed me before can do it again,” he affirmed.

This renewed sense of faith and patience has inspired fans who see him as a symbol of perseverance in an industry that often rewards noise over substance.

💬 Final Thoughts

In a time when viral moments often overshadow real artistry, Ceaserous’s message is refreshing. His story is one of integrity, patience, and belief in something bigger than the hype.

The “Dangerous” hitmaker is now ready to reintroduce himself — not with drama or stunts, but with powerful music and a grounded spirit that speaks to his evolution as both an artist and a man.
