Bell Citrus brought games, music and campus energy to Kyambogo University’s Freshers Ball, as students welcomed the new academic year with performances from Ray G, Mun G, Karol Kasita and Kapeke.
Held on Saturday, October 17, the event gave freshers and returning students an opportunity to connect and celebrate through live entertainment, interactive activities and DJ sets.
Bell Citrus added a playful twist to the night with life-sized Ludo, checkers and Jenga. The games offered students an alternative to the dance floor, creating more opportunities for interaction throughout the celebration.

The music, however, remained a major attraction. Ray G, Mun G, Karol Kasita and Kapeke took to the stage, while DJs and MCs kept the entertainment going into the early hours.
The event formed part of Bell Citrus’ Zesty Campus Tours, a campaign bringing students together through shared experiences as they settle into a new academic year.
By combining games with live performances, the Kyambogo stop offered more than a conventional stage show. Students could move between the entertainment and activity areas, making the brand activation part of the wider campus experience.
The Freshers Ball also arrives as universities begin another academic year, a period marked by new friendships, campus traditions and social events that bring student communities together.
Attention now turns to the next major date on the calendar: Bell Obafest, scheduled for November 17, according to the event announcement.
With the Kyambogo celebration now over, Bell Citrus’ Zesty Campus Tours continue to position campus gatherings as spaces for music, games and social connection.
