Ugandan socialite Sheila Don Zella has shared a deeply personal update about her life, revealing that her biggest priority is no longer finding someone with money but finding someone she can genuinely build a future with.
Speaking candidly, Don Zella said she is actively searching for a compatible life partner who can offer emotional support, understanding, and companionship. Beyond opening up about her personal life, she also announced plans to reclaim ownership of her music and pursue compensation for the work she says she invested in developing several artists during her years in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
Her comments painted the picture of someone reflecting on both her personal happiness and the legacy of her professional contributions.
“I’m Looking for a Companion”
Don Zella explained that what she values most in a relationship is emotional compatibility rather than financial status.
According to her, she wants someone who is thoughtful enough to help her navigate life’s difficult moments instead of simply offering material comfort.
“Truth be told, I’m searching for a companion to settle with. I need someone compatible with me, and it’s not all about having money. I just need a person who is smarter. If I’m down, that person should be able to pull me out of those sad moments.”
She suggested that emotional intelligence and genuine companionship are qualities she now considers more important than wealth.
For Don Zella, building a meaningful connection outweighs any financial considerations.

More Than Romance
The socialite also clarified that her search for a partner is not driven by physical intimacy.
Instead, she said she is seeking someone who can bring fulfillment through conversation, presence, and shared experiences.
“I’m not looking for sex because there are many ways I can get that. What I’m looking for is a companion.”
She went on to describe how simple experiences can bring her happiness, using everyday examples to explain what emotional satisfaction means to her.
“Just like how I walk into a bar, buy drinks for my friends without sipping any of them—that alone makes me happy. That’s satisfaction for my mental health.”
Her remarks underscored her belief that emotional well-being often comes from meaningful interactions rather than material possessions.
Turning Her Attention Back to Music
Beyond discussing her personal life, Don Zella also revealed that she intends to revisit another chapter of her career—her music.
She said she plans to reclaim ownership of songs that she claims were uploaded to various streaming platforms without her involvement.
According to Don Zella, she believes those works should be under her control, and she intends to pursue what she considers her rightful share.
Her comments signal a renewed focus on protecting her creative work and ensuring she benefits from music she says belongs to her.
Seeking Recognition for Her Industry Contributions
Don Zella also spoke about the role she says she played in helping several artists build their careers.
According to her, she invested time, money, and expertise by financing studio sessions, promoting music, and contributing to artists’ branding.
Because of those contributions, she believes she deserves compensation.
“I’m also back to claim my music from those who uploaded it to different music streaming platforms. And to everyone I supported in their music journey—from promotions to taking you to the studio and facilitating your recordings—I want my percentage.”
She referenced music manager Jeff Kiwa, saying his approach inspired her to consider pursuing a similar path.
“Jeff Kiwa did it, and I think I should do it as well. That’s the money I should be enjoying and spending in my free time. It was profit and the reward for my knowledge. I was a very smart woman who knew how to brand artists.”
Don Zella did not identify specific artists or provide further details about any formal claims she may pursue.

Why Her Comments Are Drawing Attention
Don Zella’s remarks combine two conversations that often resonate with the public: relationships and the business side of entertainment.
Her reflections on companionship highlight the value she places on emotional support over financial success, while her comments about music ownership touch on broader discussions around creative rights and recognition within the entertainment industry.
Although her statements reflect her personal views and intentions, they also spotlight issues many creatives continue to discuss, including ownership of artistic work and compensation for behind-the-scenes contributions.
For Don Zella, this chapter appears to be about redefining what matters most. In her personal life, she says she’s searching for someone who brings peace rather than prestige. Professionally, she’s looking back at the work she believes helped shape careers and is seeking recognition for those efforts. Together, those goals reflect a desire to find both personal fulfillment and professional closure.
Whether it’s finding the right life partner or reclaiming what she believes she’s earned in the entertainment industry, Don Zella says she’s entering a new phase focused on value, purpose, and long-term fulfillment.
