Ugandan singer King Saha is taking a break from live performances after falling ill, with his doctors advising him to rest until he regains his strength.
The Kings Love Entertainment singer’s management has confirmed that he will not perform until the end of the week as he focuses on his recovery.
Saha was reportedly bedridden over the weekend, alongside his manager, Sam Mukasa.
In a statement shared on Saha’s social media accounts, the singer said he is “currently unwell” and following his doctors’ advice to take time away from work.
“To all my fans, promoters, and everyone who had me booked for shows this week, I’m sorry for the inconvenience,” Saha said. “I’m currently unwell, and my doctors have advised me to rest until I regain my strength.”
The singer also addressed promoters and others affected by the canceled appearances, saying refunds would be handled after he has recovered.
“For those affected, any possible refunds will be handled after I have recovered and made sure I’m okay,” he said.
Saha later reinforced the message in a separate social media post, writing, “Health comes first,” while thanking his supporters for their understanding and prayers.
The singer did not disclose the nature of his illness, and no further medical details were provided in the statement.
For now, his focus is on rest and recovery rather than the stage. His return to performances will depend on when he is fully recovered and cleared to resume his schedule.
