Prima Kadarshi is standing by her outspoken approach to Ugandan celebrity culture, insisting that no musician is above criticism or social media banter.
Speaking during a recent TikTok Live, the social media personality and reality TV star addressed her public disagreements with several musicians, including Spice Diana and Lydia Jazmine.
Prima said her comments should not be interpreted as hatred toward the artists. Instead, she argued that she has no problem speaking out when she believes a celebrity has made a mistake.
“We shall talk about every musician, no one is above the law, we don’t fear anyone. We talk about Sheebah and then you bring your stars?” Prima said.
Her comments come after a string of outspoken takes on the Ugandan music scene.
Prima recently described Vinka’s concert as “boring,” adding to the conversation around the singer’s performance and career. She has also repeatedly criticized Lydia Jazmine, arguing that what she considers weak branding is preventing the singer from reaching the top of Uganda’s music industry.
The reality TV star has also weighed in on Lydia Jazmine’s upcoming concert, scheduled for September 4. Prima claimed the show would not offer anything particularly special, further fueling the public conversation surrounding the singer’s career.
But Prima insists her commentary is not personal.
According to her, criticism comes whenever she believes an artist has made what she considers a significant mistake — and she sees no reason to remain silent simply because the person involved is famous.
“The moment someone does a blunder, we are there to talk,” she said.
Her position puts Prima firmly in the role of an outspoken commentator on Uganda’s entertainment scene, where celebrity disagreements can quickly spill from social media into public debates.
For now, she appears comfortable with the attention that comes with saying exactly what she thinks — even when the target is one of Uganda’s biggest music stars.
