Ugandan singer Princess Amirah has responded to King Saha’s public criticism of her husband, Minister Haruna Kasolo, saying the politician was not bothered by the musician’s remarks.
Speaking during a recent interview with YouTuber Ibrah, Amirah addressed the dispute between the two men, which followed King Saha’s accusation that Kasolo had sabotaged his concert in Kyotera, the minister’s home district.
King Saha previously criticised Kasolo during a performance at Kazibwe Kapo’s concert, turning the disagreement into a public confrontation. The singer accused the minister of causing him significant financial losses, although those allegations have not been independently established in the available account.

Amirah, who was reportedly present during the incident, said the criticism did not affect her husband because he had faced harsher insults before.
“What happened was just a tiny piece of what he has gone through. He was not even affected any single bit,” she said.
She added that King Saha’s decision to express his criticism through a song made his approach more noticeable, but maintained that her husband was accustomed to public insults.
Amirah also rejected suggestions that she was holding a grudge against King Saha because of the incident. Instead, she described the singer as a brother and said she continued to appreciate his music.
“Saha can continue doing what he wants. I have no reason to stop him. He sang his song to make money and he should go ahead and earn the money,” she said.
The singer further distanced herself from the disagreement, explaining that she did not know the full circumstances behind the dispute and had no intention of inserting herself into it.
“I’m not part of their issues and won’t fix myself in their mess. Saha is my brother and we come from the same clan. I have no reason to get angry at him,” she added.

Her comments suggest that Amirah does not view King Saha’s criticism of her husband as a personal dispute between herself and the musician. She also indicated that she does not intend to respond every time someone publicly insults Kasolo.
The disagreement began with King Saha’s allegations concerning his Kyotera concert. However, the available account does not establish whether Kasolo was responsible for the alleged interference or provide a response from the minister addressing those specific accusations.
Amirah and Kasolo have been together for some time. In an earlier media interview, she revealed that they had held a private Islamic marriage ceremony, or nikah, which was not publicised because of their preference for privacy.
For now, Amirah appears keen to keep her relationship with King Saha separate from the disagreement between the singer and her husband, maintaining that she has no reason to interfere in their ongoing differences.
