Ugandan events promoter Norbert Twezire, popularly known as Nobat Events, has named Ray G as the most difficult artist he has ever worked with, while also revealing that Weasel is the musician he most regrets investing money in.
Nobat opened up about his experiences dealing with artists in Uganda’s music industry, reflecting on some of the challenges he says he has encountered throughout his career as a promoter.
According to Nobat, Ray G tops his list of difficult artists to work with despite appearing calm and humble whenever he is in front of cameras.
“I was the first person to organize Ray G a big and successful music show in Kampala,” Nobat said, before describing what he claims happens away from the spotlight.
On camera, Nobat said, Ray G can appear so calm that people might assume he is extremely easygoing. But according to the promoter, that impression changes once the cameras are switched off.
“The guy is a different version of what he portrays on camera. I’ve worked with difficult artists, but he tops the list,” Nobat claimed.

Nobat also opened up about another painful chapter of his career, naming Weasel as the artist he most regrets investing money in.
