Gospel singer Desire Luzinda has explained why she remains confident and at peace in her marriage to fellow gospel artist Levixone, despite the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship.
The singer says her trust in her husband is rooted in his conduct and the couple’s consistent efforts to reassure each other of their love, even when they are physically apart.
Speaking about how she manages the distance without allowing doubt to take over their relationship, Desire revealed that expressions of affection have become a regular part of their conversations.
According to her, the couple frequently remind each other how they feel, sometimes through playful exchanges and at other times during more serious conversations.

“Actually, I tell it to him a lot, and almost every day we always talk about it, jokingly and seriously. It has become a song on our lips. I also often tell him to reassure him,” Desire said.
For the singer, however, the foundation of that peace goes beyond affectionate words. She pointed to Levixone’s behaviour as the main reason she has not felt compelled to question his commitment.
“Most importantly, he has never given me a reason to doubt him, even though we’re in a long-distance relationship. I’m the most peaceful person on this planet in my marriage,” she added.
Her remarks were also shared by SPARK TV in a post on X on October 21, 2026, highlighting her explanation of how trust has helped her navigate the distance.
Desire’s comments offer a glimpse into how the couple approaches their relationship while living apart. Rather than presenting distance as a reason for insecurity, she emphasized reassurance, communication and the confidence she has in her husband.
The singer previously built her career in secular music before embracing gospel music. She is now publicly associated with Levixone, another prominent name in Uganda’s gospel music scene.
While the couple’s long-distance arrangement presents its own challenges, Desire’s message was clear: she credits her peace of mind to a relationship in which, according to her, her husband has given her no reason to doubt him.
For Desire Luzinda, trust is not simply something she expects from her marriage. It is something she says their everyday conversations and consistent reassurance continue to reinforce.
