Ugandan singer Alien Skin has responded to claims that he is facing eviction from his Makindye residence over alleged unpaid rent amounting to approximately UGX 36 million.
The claims emerged after an eviction notice reportedly issued by his landlord, identified as Katubere Isaac, dated October 26, 2026. According to the notice, the singer allegedly accumulated rent arrears over a period of 12 months.
However, Alien Skin has disputed the claims, saying he has not received or even seen the document reportedly addressed to him.

Speaking during a phone interview, the singer expressed surprise over the reports and insisted that failing to pay rent was not something he could imagine happening to him.
“That was not addressed to me. I might lack other things but not rent. Have you ever seen someone going a year without paying rent? I have not even seen the document myself,” he said.
His response puts the reported eviction notice into question, particularly because the singer says he has not personally seen the document and does not accept that it was addressed to him.
According to the notice, Alien Skin was reportedly given until November 26, 2026, to vacate the property. It further warned that legal action could follow if he failed to leave by the stated deadline.
As of November 3, the reported deadline is still ahead, but the landlord’s allegations and the singer’s response have not been independently reconciled.
The development adds another talking point around the singer, who has remained a prominent figure in Uganda’s entertainment scene. Alien Skin has previously shared his views on fellow musicians, including Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine, whom he has discussed among Uganda’s leading music stars.
For now, the central issue remains unresolved: the notice reportedly alleges UGX 36 million in unpaid rent, while Alien Skin says he has not seen the document and maintains that he can afford his rental obligations.
The singer’s response was also featured in a Sanyuka TV update, where he addressed the claims directly.
