Ugandan singer and songwriter Ceaserous has named Drake as his dream international collaborator, revealing that working with the Canadian superstar remains high on his musical wish list.
During an interview, Ceaserous was asked which international artist he would most like to collaborate with at this stage of his career. His answer was immediate: the hitmaker behind songs such as God’s Plan.
“Internationally, right now, there is no one who wouldn’t want to have a collabo with Drake. Drake is the guy,” Ceaserous said.
The singer’s comments highlight his ambition to take his music beyond Uganda and work with one of the biggest names in global hip-hop. However, he did not announce any confirmed plans or ongoing discussions for a collaboration with Drake.

Ceaserous Praises Caxah Diet’s Vocals
While Drake tops his international wish list, Ceaserous also had praise for Uganda’s emerging talent, singling out singer Caxah Diet for her voice and recent releases.
He described her vocals as impressive and highlighted an earlier release that particularly caught his attention.
“Right now, the top Ugandan song, there is a girl called Caxah Diet. She has an amazing voice. The release she did before the last one was top,” he said.
His remarks place Caxah Diet among the young artists he believes deserve attention in Uganda’s competitive music scene.
Ceaserous did not provide the title of the song he was referring to, so the specific release could not be identified from his comments alone.
Vyroota and Gloria Bugie Also Make His List
Caxah Diet was not the only emerging musician Ceaserous highlighted. Asked to name three young Ugandan artists he believes could become major stars in the coming years, he also mentioned Vyroota and Gloria Bugie.
“They are quite many, bro. We’ve got Caxah Diet, Vyroota… there are quite many, and names are disappearing from my head, and Gloria Bugie, plus others,” he said.
His answer suggests that he sees potential across a wider pool of rising musicians, even as he singled out the three artists by name.

From a Dream Drake Collabo to Uganda’s Next Generation
Ceaserous’ interview brought together two sides of his musical outlook: the ambition to work with an international superstar and an appreciation for emerging talent at home.
A collaboration with Drake remains an aspiration rather than a confirmed project, but Ceaserous was clear about the artist he would choose if given the opportunity.
Meanwhile, his praise for Caxah Diet, Vyroota and Gloria Bugie adds his voice to conversations about which young Ugandan musicians could make a bigger impact in the years ahead.
For now, Drake remains Ceaserous’ dream collaborator, while the singer believes Uganda has several promising young artists worth watching.
