Ugandan singer Lil Pazo Lunabe, born Yasin Mukasa, has officially confirmed that he will marry his fiancée Patricia next year—delighting fans who have been eagerly following his love story.

Speaking to Spark TV, the musician revealed that they plan to start the year with the introduction ceremony to Patricia’s parents, followed by a grand wedding in April 2026. This comes shortly after the couple hosted a private ‘Kukyala’ ceremony over the weekend, which shocked many of Lil Pazo’s followers who didn’t even know he was engaged.

“This was just ‘Kukyala’ but we shall go back for the bigger and better. The introduction and the wedding will happen in April. I will do everything for my woman. Even when I leave this world, she will take over everything that I own,” he told Spark TV.

The Private ‘Kukyala’ That Surprised Fans

Unlike many musicians’ engagement or pre-wedding ceremonies that are often star-studded, Lil Pazo kept his ‘Kukyala’ small and intimate. Only a select few friends and industry colleagues were invited, emphasizing simplicity over spectacle.

The singer explained that this was intentional. Over the years, he noticed that musicians’ events can become divisive, with celebrities clustering in exclusive groups based on wealth or social class.

“Bruno K was my best man because he is my friend. Musicians usually perform their functions without inviting us to. They have small groups, and some pretend to be so uptown that they do not mingle with the common people. Even when they do their functions, they never invite us. They invite their fellow classy people. The good thing is that their functions are never entertaining. Ours was very simple with no intentions of showing up. People loved it,” Lil Pazo explained.

By keeping the event intimate, Lil Pazo not only avoided unnecessary social media commentary, but also created a warm, personal celebration that focused on love and family rather than status.

Why Lil Pazo Kept His Love Life Private

The singer’s private approach extends beyond the ‘Kukyala’. Fans were surprised because Lil Pazo has historically kept his romantic life out of the public eye.

He shared that one of the main reasons was to avoid constant social media reminders from fans who had “sponsored” his past functions. By keeping things close-knit, he could celebrate his love life without outside pressures or expectations.

“I wanted to focus on my fiancée and family, not the noise. People were always commenting and reminding me about things. This time, it was just us,” he said.

A Love Story Built on Loyalty and Support

Lil Pazo had nothing but praise for Patricia, crediting her for shaping him into the responsible man he is today. Their relationship has been a testament to loyalty, support, and resilience, surviving the ups and downs of fame and personal struggles.

“We have walked this journey together. She has turned me into a responsible man. I was young and broke when she found me. I fell sick, and in all this, she was still with me. She understands me and gives me peace,” he said.

He went further to call Patricia one of the most beautiful wives in the music industry, highlighting not just her physical beauty but also her unwavering support throughout his career.

Looking Ahead: Introduction and Wedding in April

Lil Pazo and Patricia plan to make the introduction ceremony to Patricia’s parents early next year. This traditional step is crucial in Ugandan culture, marking the beginning of the formal wedding process.

The couple will then follow up with a grand wedding in April 2026, promising an event that balances elegance, tradition, and the joy of family and friends. Fans can expect a celebration that is heartfelt, entertaining, and reflective of the couple’s journey together.

What Fans Are Saying

Social media reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with fans expressing excitement for the couple’s future:

  • “Finally! Lil Pazo and Patricia, the perfect couple!”
  • “Love how private and classy their ‘Kukyala’ was. Gives hope to the rest of us!”
  • “Can’t wait for April! This wedding is going to be legendary.”

Meanwhile, fellow musicians have applauded Lil Pazo for breaking the norm of flashy, celebrity-dominated events, showing that love and authenticity can take center stage.

The Takeaway

Lil Pazo Lunabe’s announcement proves that keeping things simple can have a big impact. From a small, elegant ‘Kukyala’ to a planned grand wedding and introduction in April, the singer is showing that love, respect, and loyalty are at the heart of his relationship with Patricia.

As the countdown to the April wedding begins, fans are not only anticipating a celebration of love but also a rare glimpse into the private life of one of Uganda’s top musicians.
