Sheebah Karungi has stepped into the ongoing feud between Crysto Panda and Gloria Bugie, publicly defending Panda and calling for their disagreement to stop crossing deeply personal boundaries.
The two Ugandan musicians have traded harsh words during their ongoing dispute, but the situation became more sensitive after Bugie reportedly brought up painful experiences from Panda’s life, including the loss of his parents and child.
That crossed a line for Sheebah.
The singer condemned the use of someone’s greatest losses as ammunition during an argument, saying personal grief should not be turned into a weapon.
“If you are the kind of human being who can use someone’s greatest loss of a mother, a father, or a child as a weapon to attack them, then you are an evil spirit,” Sheebah said.
She went on to urge Bugie to reconsider how she approached the conflict, adding: “Whatever differences you two have, you simply don’t do something like that. Fix your heart’s posture young girl.”
Sheebah also revealed that she personally called Panda and encouraged him to walk away from the confrontation.
According to the singer, she understood why Panda was angry and hurt but wanted him to avoid allowing the dispute to escalate further.
“I’m so sorry, Panda, that this happened to you. I called you yesterday because I genuinely wanted you to stop cause I know who you are, a decent human being,” she said.
The intervention comes as the dispute continues to attract attention within Uganda’s entertainment scene, with the personal nature of some of the exchanges becoming a major talking point.
Sheebah also addressed the argument that a man should not fight with a woman. While acknowledging that principle, she insisted it should not erase Panda’s humanity or invalidate his emotions.
“A man does not fight with a woman. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I understand that. But there is a limit to everything,” she said.
She added that Panda remains “a human being too” and argued that his status as a man should not mean he is expected to absorb every personal attack without being affected.
For Sheebah, the issue appears to be less about choosing sides in the feud and more about where the line should be drawn when personal pain enters a public argument.
And her message was blunt: whatever the disagreement between Panda and Bugie, some losses should simply remain off-limits.
