Archbishop Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has called on Christians to reject the temptation of seeking wealth through witchcraft and other shortcuts, urging believers to trust God’s plan and pursue success through faith, prayer, and hard work.
The Archbishop delivered the message while addressing Christians during the dedication of Kitara Kabulengwa Fellowship Church, where he encouraged believers to keep God at the center of their personal lives, businesses, and daily activities.
Kaziimba emphasized that true blessings come from faithfully worshipping and trusting God rather than pursuing wealth through practices that go against Christian teachings.
He urged Christians to remain patient and committed in their faith, saying that those who maintain a close relationship with God position themselves to receive His blessings.
“When you worship God, you live with Him, leaving Him with no choice but to bless you,” Archbishop Kaziimba told the congregation.
The Archbishop also encouraged believers to make prayer and worship a consistent part of their daily routines.
He said Christians should not begin important activities — including running businesses or reporting to work — without first seeking God’s guidance.
“God needs people to worship Him. That’s why you should create time to worship Him, even in your home and in your business,” he said.
“Don’t just open your shop or office and begin working without praying. The first thing you should always do is worship and pray.”
According to Kaziimba, putting God first in everyday decisions helps believers maintain spiritual discipline while navigating challenges in life and business.
