Reigning Miss Uganda Almorie Nagayi has revealed that she is single and not actively looking for a relationship, saying her responsibilities as the country’s beauty queen are keeping her busy.
The 19-year-old shared the update during an interview on Galaxy TV, explaining that she is currently focused on her reign and the opportunities that have come with winning the Miss Uganda crown.
According to Almorie, her schedule leaves her with limited time to prioritise dating as she navigates the demands of the title, which include public appearances, interviews and other engagements.
She described the pace of her daily activities as one of the most exciting parts of the experience, saying there is consistently something on her schedule.
“One of the most exciting things is how action-packed my day is, and there’s something to do every day,” she said.
Rather than spending most of her time at home, Almorie said her role allows her to meet people, participate in interviews and experience different opportunities associated with representing the Miss Uganda brand.
Her comments suggest that she is enjoying the professional and public-facing side of the position while keeping her attention on the responsibilities that come with the crown.
Almorie also disclosed that she has a public relations team that helps coordinate her engagements, including advising her on where to go and whom to interact with.
“I have a PR team that recommends where and who I interact with, so everything is going well for me, and I’m very happy with it,” she said.
The arrangement appears to be part of how she manages the demands of her new role, allowing her to navigate public appearances and other commitments during her reign.
Although Almorie has confirmed that she is single and not actively searching for a partner, she did not indicate that she was ruling out a relationship altogether. Her comments centred on her current priorities and the busy schedule that comes with being Miss Uganda.
For now, the beauty queen appears content to focus on her duties, professional engagements and the opportunities available to her during her reign.
