Rising Ugandan artist Sqoop Larma is already dreaming big for 2027, with the “Temutuloga” hitmaker setting his sights on a maiden concert — and potentially one of Uganda’s biggest entertainment venues.
Sqoop Larma says he wants to hold his first concert next year and is calling on promoters willing to take on the project and help turn the ambition into reality.
While he isn’t insisting on a specific venue, the singer revealed that he has personally dreamed of filling Lugogo Cricket Oval.
“I want to hold my maiden concert next year. If any promoter is willing to jump on this, I am ready,” Sqoop Larma said in an interview.
He added that he would leave the final venue decision to his team and promoters based on what they believe they can fill.
“I wouldn’t want to limit myself in terms of the venue; it will depend on the team to decide what venue we can fill. I personally have dreamed of filling up Lugogo Cricket Oval,” he said.

The ambition comes as Sqoop Larma continues gaining attention with his trending song “Temutuloga,” giving the emerging artist momentum as he looks toward a bigger stage.
Beyond music, Sqoop Larma also says he wants to use his growing platform to support street children, drawing from his own experience of being on the streets.
“I was also saved from the streets and would love to use my talent to inspire and help the street kids,” he said.
The artist believes many talented children living on the streets simply need someone to give them a push and create opportunities for them.
“There are many talented kids on the streets that need a push and opportunities,” Sqoop Larma added.
For now, there is no confirmed date, venue or promoter attached to his proposed 2027 concert. But if his Lugogo Cricket Oval dream becomes reality, Sqoop Larma could have a major milestone waiting on the other side of his “Temutuloga” breakthrough.
