Nigerian rap star Olamide is heading to London’s O2 Arena for a major headline concert on March 25, 2027, marking the biggest London headline show of his career, according to the announcement by Hera Touring and YBNL Entertainment.
The concert will bring the YBNL boss to the iconic Greenwich venue following his headline performance at OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025. It also marks another milestone for an artist whose influence has extended beyond his own catalogue into the careers of some of Nigeria’s biggest contemporary music stars.
Organisers say the London show will feature music spanning Olamide’s career, from the street-hop records that established his reputation to newer material, including songs from his self-titled 2025 album, Olamidé.
Special guest performances from artists in Afrobeats and UK music are also planned, although the names have yet to be announced.
For Olamide, the concert represents another major moment in a career built on Yoruba-language rap, street-pop and collaborations that have helped shape modern Nigerian music. His ability to move between Yoruba and English has been central to his musical identity and appeal across different audiences.
Beyond his recording career, Olamide has played a significant role in developing emerging talent through YBNL Entertainment. Artists associated with the label’s rise include Fireboy DML, Asake and Lil Kesh, while Adekunle Gold was also part of its earlier history.
His catalogue includes collaborations with major African music stars such as Wizkid, Davido, Omah Lay, Tiwa Savage, Darkoo and Young Jonn, reflecting his reach across different corners of the contemporary music scene.
Speaking ahead of the concert, Olamide said London had supported him throughout his career and described performing at The O2 as a long-held ambition.
“London has always shown me love, from the early days to Wembley. Standing on The O2 stage is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time,” he said.
He added that the show would celebrate the connection between Lagos and London, saying it was for everyone who had supported him and YBNL from the beginning.
Abi Babalola of Hera Touring also highlighted the significance of the booking, describing the move from Wembley to The O2 as an important milestone for the rapper and his audience.
